  • The war cry of this brave regiment is “Jai Mahakali, Ayo Gorkhali”.
  • Current Army chief Mr. Bipin Rawat and the Previous Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag is also from the Gorkha regiment.
  • Gorkha Rifles 11 has been part of all Indian operations after Independence.
