They are the one who constant watch on the border, who constant fight with an enemy with their selfless services. Our army is also served on outside country also. 1. Gorkha regiment

• Field Marshal Sam Manek show said once that” If a man says he has no fear of dying, he is either lying or is Gorkha. This one statement will let you know everything about braveness of this regiment.
• The war cry of this brave regiment is “Jai Mahakali, Ayo Gorkhali”.
• Current Army chief Mr. Bipin Rawat and the Previous Army chief General Dalbir Singh Suhag is also from the Gorkha regiment.
• Gorkha Rifles 11 has been part of all Indian operations after Independence.

2. Punjab Regiment

• This regiment is one of the oldest regiments who are serving in the Indian army. This regiment is getting praised many times.
• Punjab regiment sends their three battalions in overseas for UN like, In Gaza, Angola, Lebanon; the Democratic Republic of Congo due to the regiment is one of the most acclaimed forces of the Indian army.
• Their war cry is” Jo bole so Nihal Sat Sri Akal.”

3. The Grenadiers regiment

• This regiment serving the country much before the independence, as they took part in world war two.
• This regiment has been proud of having 3 Param Vir Chakras.
• This regiment comprises Jats, Kutchi, Dogras, Gujjars, Meenas, and other Indian casts which makes this regiment diversified.
• The Warcry of The Grenadiers regiment is “Sarvada Shaktishali”.

4. Rajputana regiment

• This regiment formed in 1775 and known as one of the most senior regiments in Indian army.
• Rajputana regiment sends their battalion in UN peacekeeping mission in Korea as well as in Congo.
• The regiment is first to get the honor of Victoria Cross of Indian Army.
• Their war cry” Raja ram Chandra ki Jai”.

5. Rashtriya Rifles

• This Indian regiment of the Army comes under the Home Ministry of India
• Rashtriya rifles considered as world’s largest counter-insurgency regiment.
• They have a special aura, efficiency, and skill to tackle all kinds of high-risk operations, as all officers will go through high and tough pre-induction training.
• They play a major role in Kashmir valley from safeguarding from cross firing as well as finish the militants from the valley.
